11:45 saturday morning. I reached Feli's mum's salon. appointment to dye my hair. the whole thing took a freaking 3 hours (wow) the chair you lie on to let them wash your hair is freaking comfortable. too bad its like 600 bucks :( (yes i asked how much it costs) now my hair is "korean ah-lian" according to my dad (pfft) its my first ever dye experience and i'm quite happy with the results. i think my hair looks more sporty and sunshinie than before :)

15:15 I reached SGH early to visit Connie mummy's lab. the corridor of that place is excellent for filming Resident Evil IMHO. Connie's lab rox. got a lot of cool stuff, its so interesting to see the place where your friend works everyday. its like seeing a different side of a person. another element in your friend's life. words cannot express my thoughts on this.

16:00 we did a gig at SGH for the Stroke Association function. It was held in a rather plain hall, mostly old people were there. not more than 50 people were there. but they were rather responsive when we sang Teresa Tang's songs (haha), some even sang along !! I enjoyed that performance a lot, very happy after that. I think its a very meaningful event. The salmon bento they provided was pretty good too although it was quite salty >_<

18:15 we headed down to LWS to pick up JJ and Feli's Miss Field's cookie cake. then we drove down to her house. 19:00 we reached her house and the bbq was just starting. the food is fantastic. her family put in a lot of effort into this bbq. there were crabs, prawns, beef, mutton, hotdogs, sausages, soup, potato, fruits, salad, drinks... the cooks were excellent which meant excellent food. and the people were excellent which meant excellent company. we ate and chatted around the table till sometime later that's when we gave Feli her "MUSTAFA" inspired gift (muahaha) we had many laughs while doing it and even more seeing her react to her gift.

22:00 we went for a walk, me, connie, jiayu, JJ, wsls and hc. we ended up at the playground and we played silly games. altogether great fun and a wonderful time :) i really enjoy and treasure the times we spend together :) 22:45 we went back and they were into the 2nd round of eating (haha) the fire was restarted after it extinguished and we all sat around the table eating more good food and chatting. soon it was time for the cake. her aunt bought TWO hagen daaz icecream cakes !!! chocolate and coffee. shouldnt have had all that food and 3 bowls of soup, too full to have 2 servings :( the coffee cake is great :) hagen daaz is great :) we mingled and talked a bit more after that.

today started at 13:30 dead tired from the day before. luckily jiayu managed to borrow his dad's car. transportation is so much easier especially going to some unknown place in henderson. we had another performance today at henderson BLK 106. its tree planting day. I didnt enjoy this performance one bit and I have no idea why. I usually enjoy and feel quite happy after performing. It might have been the pent up stress since we had thought LKY would be present during the performance (turns out he arrives after we perform) we knew it was LKY when we saw the traffic police and a little procession of cars, his family came too. I wasn't in the least nervous about the performance though, just like yesterday at SGH I felt relaxed and at ease. but unlike yesterday, i derived no joy from today's gig.

our show was supposed to be 30min long but was cut to 15min.. not very sure why, but maybe the organizers were afraid LKY would arrive too soon or whatever... anyways... fish'em. it was topsy-turvy being told it would be 10min long when we reached. and later being told it was back to 30min. and afterwards without being notified of anything, the MC simply jutted in thanking us after our third item. if they had told us we could have rearranged our item line-up and inserted the more exciting and hyper songs instead of progressing in the planned format. freakin' fish'em.

I guess we got to learn more stuff today, experience gained, lessons learnt. I hope we all come away from today with more wisdom and soem improvement. gotta thank Annie Pek for giving us this opportunity too. and i've really gotta change my position or do something, cos this aint the first time i've gotten feedback saying my voice is not "open". sigh. i have no idea what to do about that. more exploration to do.

19:00 we headed to SMU since Feli had to go back there to rush her assignment due at midnight later. we had dinner at Haven the food court which has suxxor food. well, my cod fish and chips suxxor-ed. the milo is good though. very thick milo. overall mood after performance aint very high actually. with retrospection, dont think anyone really enjoyed that performance. none of that "high" and none that "woohoo" that we usually feel after a performance together. connie said her hands were shaking and she didnt know why.
