a 4 days whirlwind. these few days went by like a speeding bullet. I thoroughly enjoyed this long weekend.
it began with thursday, the PG had its weekly practice session in preparation for Christmas day's caroling. i gave out the presents i had prepared. a couple of them were in terrible shape, i took them back for repairs (rofl)
friday was a happy day. i woke up real late, had connie and feli come over to my place for dinner. we watched a couple shows together and altogether had fun chatting about crappy stuff :P crappy talk continued at wsls' place, i can barely remember what we talked about (babies, politics, etc...) 5/7 of the cwab peeps were there. it was a long chat... lasted till about 4am saturday. eeks.
i bunked on the sofa till about 7am... washed up and sat in the garden, looking at the trees, birds and the wabbit. it's very peaceful. the sounds of the birds calling. after a bath, we took off to lws. had a pretty good bf before setting off to our 1st destination. woodlands. 10am+ we delivered a performance and goodie bags for the old folks at the home. the big tour bus then took us to heartland mall where we had a hearty but sucky lunch at pizza hut. the cream of chicken soup was cold and the pizza wasnt particularly yummy. but it was good company.
a tiny bit of free time later, we proceeded to serangoon gardens for our 2nd home visit. same thing. afterwhich we boarded the tour bus and headed for novena sq. shopped around a bit then sat down to crap somemore. got into the "men's blood type" convo (rofl)
the 3rd and last home visit was a home near tan tok seng. there was this mini crew of people who were filming us for a programme that's gonna air on arts central in april or something, i wonder what it's gonna be like.
throughout the day, one could hear various peeps mumbling about being "shag". yeah. it was one big "shagged" group... most of us had been out partying till the wee hours and were tired out the whole day. so we were all quite happy when we were finally done with the last visit. very very tired.
we headed back to lws to unload all the stuff we brought. then wsls wanted to go for foot massage, so we, the cwab people minus connie headed to tiong bahru. the 4 of them went for the foot thingy whilst me and feli did some quick and smart shopping for gifts for this coming party. we managed to get all 3 presents (we helped connie get hers too) for the low low price of $9.95 (nice boxes included) WAH HA HA~ then i got a pair of trackies for the low low LOW price of $30 MUA HA HA~ then dinner at this jap place. OMGOOSE SUPERB RAMEN O_O''
for dessert we decided to go to west coast's mac cafe. but before that we went to the playground next to mac cafe. JJ apparently has studied the various mechanisms of the rides and fun things cos he was darn good at playing them (eye opener roflmao) the "sitting flying fox" and the "spinning moon" were the funnest rides IMO. but spinning moon is a very giddy ride (puke)
after dessert it was home sweet home. time of arrival 1am.
sunday. i woke at 4pm. mua hahahah ~ idling around my pc very sleepily. got a call some time after that asking if i was interested in going to Gina's concert at esplanade (Gina is a SG singer, had a couple albums about 10 years ago) she's good !! very natural, sings with emotion and is overall a good performer. after the concert we had dinner at newton circus (man was i starving) then we headed to indochine at about 11pm. and oh my goodness was that an experience.
well, for one, its the first time i ever stepped into a club. its also the first time i ever clubbed. i guess this counts as clubbing. i'm not even sure if it counts. but if you dance i guess it counts (rofl) it was a party organized by wsls' very good friend that had a hair style show (models catwalking with funkay hairdos) followed by dancing (yeah~)
well, the most special thing about it was that by 3am, the club was rockin' with a 100% G crowd. man, can Gs dance. they are freakin' good at dancing. really an eye opener. least to say, i had a FANTASTIC time dancing. i think i danced for about 3 hours man. but not tired at all, i dont know why. house music is good. celeb sighting, kumar.
i downed 4 glasses of coke mixed with a bottlecap of black label. pretty nice drink i must say. rather sweet. not smelly.
man, i loved it. so fun !!!!!! but deafening. VERY. i felt like my ears were half covered by something when i stepped out of indochine at 5am. very very deaf. even now i have slight ringing in my ears. definitely not advisable to club too often. breathing there probably shortens your life too. all that 2nd hand smoke. but there wasnt much smoking there TG.
i love the dancing, but i'm not clubbing material that's for sure. but this is a very good first experience at clubbing. i feel very lucky.

and now... zzzZZZ
