the first few
its the new year. 2005. school is starting next week. i've successfully bidded for my core modules (yay) the first few days of the year went by pretty well. i was sick (hua hua hua) must have been the monstrous "dinosaur" that i attempted to drink on the 1st (dinosaur is the ultimate overkill in the realm of milo. its a drink of milo plus a whole heap of milo powder added onto of it. jln kayu is famous for it) well, to be fair i was on my way to getting the heat from the constant late nights the whole week, what with christmas and new year celebs and all. added on my not having a habit of drinking water much, i was finally hit with the sorethroat/heaty symptoms on sunday. sunday was connie's exam day (woohoo) she was too nervous and didnt sing as well as she should have. i couldnt help but burst into laughter when she was going for me with her "lu guang" rap (rofl) ahahahahaha... sorry though, it'd have been nice to see her "rap" ended up a "xiao chang" (har har har) after that me, feli, boy and JJ sent WSLS to the airport. after that, we headed around rather aimlessly before decideding to eat ice-cream at this place in bukit timah. the gelato ice-cream. i decided to be adventurous, and ended up with a chocmint+tiramisu mix. tastes like cough medicine when taken together (YUCKY) each on their own tasted much better. JJ's mix tasted like ply-wood glue man. rum&raisins+tartufu (spelling) feli's was safe. durian supreme (mua haha) home. i gulped lotsa wata, went to bed. shivering under the covers dunno why. damn cold. but just fingers and toes. heat was everywhere else but there. i wonder what is the cause... but anyhow i woke up feeling almost as good as new, albeit a slightly throbbing and woozy head, and a moderate sorethroat. rest can do wonders for the body ;) well monday's bill was the movie kungfu which i rate 8 stars out of 10. i love the subtleties of the film, the sheer wackiness and the horrendous amount of laughter it induced out of me. if you havent caught it yet, please do :) its worth $8.50 even tho i watched the $6.50 one :P today is chill day. so chill ~ |
