last day
today is my last day of the hols. yesterday, i was trying to think of stuff to do today, but couldnt think of anything. that didnt matter though, cos i had a great day today, impromptu style. had our group auditions for talent quest 05 in the morning. or should i say, afternoon ? those people (i'm refraining from using unpleasant words here) told us to be there at 1130am. i crawled up from bed, feeling like doggy poopie, dragged myself to arab street. there we took our queue number and starting waiting. well, we were late, we arrived there at 12noon BUT the auditions havent even started yet. until 1pm then did the auditions start. i think. that's a freaking 1.5 hours late. such bad planning of time. i dont know why it was delayed SO MUCH but whatever the reason, its totally unjustified. this competition never fails to irk me in some way every year.. i wonder why i still take part in it (rofl) while waiting for our turn we had breakfast and being extremely bored, me and feli started to crit the brochure given to us, introducing some music course that supposedly will help us improve our singing and stuff. i can say, the english is terrible. they need to hire someone with better command of the english language to write their brochures. ahem. anyhoo, we received vouchers for 4 hours of free ktv at partyworld. the usual voucher. you still have to pay for the drinks and fruits haha. so we booked a room from 2-6pm. the delayed auditions made us 30mins late for our ktv session GROWL and we actually took a cab from arab st to partyworld orchard (ZZZ) well, ktv is always fun :) dinner and shopping afterwards. i saw a surgical steel ring that fits my index finger really well and has a cobweb and a heart design on it. i kinda like it, but will KIV the ring for awhile to see if i really want it. its $30 for a steel ring (ZZZ) 9pm ++ we hitched a ride with wsls who fetched me and feli to ah boy's place where we were supposed to watch our home videos together, but wsls was in a inspirational mood i guess and went home to do a demo. so the 3 of us ended up editing a video so that we can make a vcd out of it :) editing is quite fun. then wsls called us when he had finished the demo and we tried to help him think of a title for it after listening to it but we couldnt think of any good titles =x 1am. home. |
