17th July. Following that, there was this Bodhi Walk show at East Coast Park and a few of us went ktv-ing afterwards.

5th August was PG practice as usual. Saturday was a 'nuah' day for me. Sunday 7th August. Our East Point show. Had to force myself to wake up early for it too. The show went well, I think. We did attract quite a crowd to come and watch =)

The usual screwups, little quirks, last minute situations, nothing is a surprise during a show (hahaha)

After the show, We went to Billy Bombers for lunch! YUMMY!!! After lunch... SHOPPING!!!

This was the forfeit. EWWWWWWW >.<

Connie was the first one who hit the secret number. But she had to leave and the game continued after that. Apparently the forfeit wasn't yucky enough =P

After her party, Crystal said that there was a countdown and fireworks at City Hall area and 5 of us headed down to Esplanade to try to catch the fireworks. WE DID!!! hahaha, it was very last minute and we only just made it in time. It was beautiful =)

We were joined by Crystal's friends and surprise surprise, Joann's long lost friend was in that group. hahaha. We played mafia again, as well as murderer... but murderer wasnt such a good game to play when nobody could see anything, it was so dark.

We went to the Lau Pat Sak for food, lalala, talked a lot more, laughed a lot more. The satay is quite nice =) and then it was time for home. I had no idea how to go home, I didnt want to take cab. So we walked from Lau Pat Sak to Funan to catch the Night Rider. Funny thing was, we ended up taking a cab home anyway =.="

NATIONAL DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Woke up from the late late late night. and immediately bombarded by sms and missed calls >.<>

We were hankering for the fireworks to start though... we wanted to watch the fireworks!!! We had to take a cab down to Marina South, where the show was on apparently. Poor girls got into the first cab and me, Felicia and JY looked for a second cab. Who was to know, in the midst of the madness and chaos, we heard a loud BOOM. I was like "WHAT WHAT WHERE WHERE" hahaha frantically in search of the fireworks. Tadaa~ it was right in my face. B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L.

We were forced to enter the cab we flagged whilst the fireworks were still going on =( Had to look at the rest through the cab windows. We arrived at the place in good time, but not without going through a whole lot of "adventure camp" type of obstacles and a whole lot of running. Keep Fit. hahaha.

There was Qiu Ze when we reached. YAY QIU ZE!!! and then some rapping groups and THE INDONESIAN IDOL. after listening to her, I can safely say that the Singapore Idol is crap, Superstar is crap. infact, nothing else is worth listening to after that. She will have her own concert in Singapore on the 12th of Dec iirc. her name is Joy something, cant remember hahaha. She won cheers and applause from a crowd who hadnt the slightest idea of who she was, she isnt pretty either. but the crowd knows a real singer when they hear one -wink-

The crowd left right after the Superstar people sang. Wasnt even a 'live' performance. They merely lipsynced. Anyway, this is the uglier side of Singaporeans, didnt even have the decency to stay for the rest of the show. the next performer had to perform whilst tons of people made their way to the exit. sigh. but lets not dwell too much on this, because we left as well (hahaha) but seriously after missing the fireworks, our moods were dampened.

Shermin, JY and Felicia headed to their destinations respectively and the remaining 4 of us went for supper at where else, Esplande hawker centre that's open 24/7 THREE TIMES IN TWO DAYS. how many times can people keep going back to the same place that isnt your work place or school -.- we had bak cor mee and satay. the satay isnt nice. but the mee is very nice. then we talked a lot and nuahed a lot there as well hahaha

well, turning back and going for supper was a mistake cos, THERE IS NO NIGHT RIDER!!! hahaha, we thought we could try taking the night rider back, but didnt realise that there werent any to take -.- and we stupidly waited an hour before realizing that something wasn't right. after that we wasted another 20mins wandering around ghost town in search of an ATM since we didnt have enough cash on us. not thinking that we could have taken the cab to an ATM -.-

but alls well ends well, we got home safe and sound =)
