oh and I almost forgot...
Met up with old friends last Sat. OLD in both senses of the word. HAHAHA. =x Havent seen them in quite a while I must say. Months ago. This is what happens when you combine the birthdays of 3 August babies. I cant really remember what we talked about exactly. But we laughed a lot. ah. the usual topics. BF. Job. School. 4/7 attached now. Soon I will be receiving red cards inviting me to expensive dinner at some hotel. Prove that we're really getting OLD. Marriage and babies were also discussed. EEPS. From the days of drooling over Lin Zhi Ying and Andy Lau and such. Today we talk about heavy weight topics concerning big life decisions. The evening start at Milenia Walk. An eatery called Moon Fish. Then we tried to find a coffee place to continue the evening/night but we couldnt find a single place. All the TCCs were full of people -.- Finally we walked all the way to City Hall and settled into Cafe Cartel. I was famished by then and had fish 'n' chips =P The rest had desserts and drinks only. We chatted and chatted and a fair bit of time was spent sorting out monetary issues XD as usual, the 2 accounts of the clique sorted it all out while I dug into my fish 'n' chips. They're all getting on in life. All of them are in school! Be it full time NUS bizad or SIM degree courses or ACCA (hope I got it right) They are all continuing their education after poly and a couple years of work experience. Wow. This is growing up. I just realised just how many August baby friends I have @___@ A good Aug 25th friend just got her car. Called me all excited. She got her new car on her birthday LOL. Joined her and her BF and another friend for late night drink and also to check out her new car. Vios man. She seems to have taken to driving quite well. (Reminded of my lack of a driving license yet again) That's 4 August baby friends. EEPS. so broke. but happy. Is happy a feeling/mood people use to console themselves when they're freaking near being an absolute failure. =x I dunno. |
