A mini break at last!
After the mad rush @ work for the past 2 weeks... things are finally slowing down a little bit. gives me some time to take a breath. and... NO WORK TOMORROW!!! haha... not because its labour day though... so happens that i have no class tomorrow =) rest time!!! oh wait. no. got tons of things to do >.< 1) practice for composing class homework... by thursday... 2 terribly difficult songs. i'm so dead LOR. 2) reading up on diaphragm and vocal chords... borrowed 4 books from esplanade lib today. and thanks mel for helping me borrow the cd rom =) 3) getting some REAL rest. i can feel it. i'm wearing thin. so is my throat. i need real rest real soon. WHY AM I STILL UP!?!?!? hahaha... a few updates on my life... mostly just teaching classes, joining whatever is left of pg practice by the time i finish my friday class =.= and going out with friends... perhaps i'm spending too much time with friends... BUT! all work and no play makes me a dull girl. and i'm dull enough already... dont wanna get any duller than i already am. lols. friday night after PG was early. but saturday... stayed in school after my 7pm class ended to sing some songs, do some paperwork. and then headed to the cuppage terrace for some AWESOME RAMEN with hideaki and hc. its fantastic. not so cheap of course. but worth the money man! the serving is larger than usual and the side dishes like the gyoza and the pickles are DEE-LI-CIOUS! tonight was pretty fun too! headed to esplanade to borrow some books. met up with jo and mel there =) we headed down to the bunbun jamming session... AGAIN =.= hohoho. had a lot of fun with sue (i hope i spelt it right) jo and mel there. we bought a ton of snacks and played wacky card games hahaha... to end off the night, we went to this cosy pub that i went to once before previously... the place at united square that sells a million different kinds of beer and DEE-LI-CIOUS sausages @_@ assorted fried/boiled sausages wahahaha... yummy!!! in a case of mistaken identity, i took this really spicy mustard and both me and mel happily dipped our sausages in that. next thing we knew, we were attacked by a really really hot attack of spicyness. acks. lols. the guys went outside to play pool and we gals inside started to play at building card castles. we managed to build a really tall one using 2 decks of playing cards!!! got the pictures to prove it too!!! but currently stuck in JY's phone... eh... must pester him to send to me. then we played mafiaaaaaaaaaaaaa again............. hahahaha always fun and funny to play. but it all depends on WHO you play with ;) -looking forward to a quiet monday. should i go to the results show tmr or stay home and rest? i'll decide this tomorrow =) |
