When a stranger calls... ... ... ... ... Hello...
Yes, I joined the Pg peeps at PS today to catch this movie. They all went to the Mantou jamming session before that... but its way early and i was still rolling around in lala-land XD So the movie starts at 4pm but the twinies are still going ga-ga over Misaki... ah... and so is joann >.> kids... We finally arrive at the cinema and all the rest wanna go to the toilet so Kelly and I go in first. To my surprise its still adverts! hohoho... just as we sit down, the movie starts lol. The rest missed only a few minutes, which wasnt a big loss i.m.o... The movie starts off with shootages of an amusement park... and i'm thinking... oh gawd whats with the amusement parks in thrillers... (think FD III) so there's eerie music and all... the swishing leaves... and a shadow in the window... and the blood curdling scream. YAY. action right at the start of the movie... or so you think. a detective arrives at the bloody scene... only... you dont get to see any blood or gory scenes... all you get to see are bags carried out by the police that supposedly contain the dead people. then the movie really starts... the female lead is introduced. oh my... she's a real babe. great proportionate figure too... all of us are going on and on about her after the movie, beautiful eyes, eyebrows, great hair, jackets, clothes, not to mention her figure... ahaahhahaa... (this movie is kinda a flop if not for this lovely female lead XD) turns out nobody took much notice of the "suspense" and "thriller"... we were all too busy looking and admiring the actress... and the house which was the setting for this thriller movie. or maybe it was meant to be a comedy >.> we are then treated to an incessant supply of eerie music and the occasional "shocking" episodes... we endure all this until the last part of the movie when the "baddie" FINALLY appears for real. yeah... at last... which got to be rather comical towards the end as well... all in all, i only screamed once. and laughed.... all the way to the end. its quite amusing to have a cinema full of people laugh together in a thriller XD its hard to rate this one... 8/10. it sucks as a thriller... but i like it =) mmm... after the movie... i had a class to teach at 7pm... went over for pg prac after that... and jovi, joann and me headed to S11 for ramen XD then we joined Hc, Mavis and Gabe... went to east coast to hang out. Gabe's sister was camping there for the night and i got to see Rex.. the mixed dog... sooooooo cute... shaggy and his hair covering his eyes... cute cute cute! the golden retriever is beautiful too =) the beach is really a beautiful thing. it really helps in clearing your mind of a lot of clutter. i stood there... for a while, looking at the sky, the sea, the ships out there... and i did something that i hadnt done for sometime now... i talked to God. i asked and i got an answer. miraculously, i feel much lighter now... something i havent felt in a loooooooooooong long time. my head feels lighter, and so does my heart. No doubt that God will always be my best friend. another piece of good news.... i got a gift... unexpected one... a skirt! which came in awfully handy... hahhahahaha talk about a good bit of luck =) faith; to believe when it is unbelievable |
