Aaron and friends concert!!! Night 1.
It was a blazing success :) Many people came and its a full house @ Ai Qin Hai. My goodness, our music school closed at 7pm and everybody came down for the first night hahaha... all the staff, bosses and fellow instructors, some students, EVERYONE @_@ The opening number Cantelope was funky and Aaron went up the stage after that amidst crazy screaming and applause XD He sang well. as usual. whats new man... hohoho. and the emcees talked about his life and stuff like that, ilnking one song to the next. The crowd is really happening man. There were a few hiccups due to extreme nervousness and such... but the crowd was very understanding and forgiving :) Thats what friends are for! The crowd was very encouraging of all the performers and instrumentalists :) When it was nearing my turn after Aaron's Chun Zhen my heart was beating so fast I was sure it would have jumped out if it could. I went up and there was a little scuffle with the mics >.< then the guitarist, Gabe started after I said a few things... The music is good but I could barely hear it. Everything was kind of on an autopilot at that point cuz I had totally freaked out and I dont remember hearing the music. How did I sing with the music when I couldnt hear it I really dont know. I screwed up one line with random mumblings but the rest of the song went well after that XD A high point of the song was when Weisong Laoshi jio-ed JJ to sing the backup vocals with him *hahahahaha* so cute of him :) It really made the crowd laugh a lot and have fun cuz of his fun nature :) The rest of the concert went on and it wasnt until the last last LAST item when something really funny happened. The roland keyboard Jason played on when bust and Aaron literally had to qing chang XD and it was so funny when Jason tried to sneak to the other keyboard *hahahahahahahahahaha* so comical. and when he tried to play, the sound of drums was heard and the crowd roared with laughter... cuz the keyboard was set to drums earlier and wasnt set back to the piano XD but he managed to switch it back and started playing again. Alls well ends well!!! after that was raving applause, congratulations all around and photo taking!!! *hahahahaha* went for supper at the hongkong cafe near raffles link. the food wasnt too bad. and after that... WORLD CUP at mavis' place with a few other peeps. Argentina vs Holland. first half was quite fun but the second half was boring... except for a few funny parts =\ |
