PSS experience version 2.0
so today connie fetched me to toa payoh (yay) we reached about 2pm... met up with the rest of the gang... registered and got into the queue... very boring. sit there do nothing can only wait. after something like 30mins to 1hour our batch got moved into the HDB building (i think) and ta daa~ another queue inside (haha) so queue there for dunno how long... then finally in groups of 5 we were sent to our audition rooms. up till then i was quite blur lah... dunno what really to do and dunno what is happening... then suddenly! my turn liao... the door opened, a crew member gave me this mic, i took it and walked to that sticker on the floor... inside the room was this row of judges (about 4 of them) 1 of them is zheng zhan lun a singer from the xin yao period. apparently the mic is attached to the camera and also the headsets the judges were wearing. so i did my self-intro... took a deep breath and started singing my song of choice (leave me alone) sang a couple of lines then a judge hit this bell and i thought "ok i'm out" but then he asked me to sing another song so i sang wu di dong. one chorus and i stopped and looked at them. there was a mini discussion among them then a judge said "kan4 deng1" so i looked for a light to look at. then i saw this green light. my mind was a complete blank. nothing registered until a judge said "ni3 jing4 le" then i must have looked very blur cuz the judges told me that i'm blur. all i could do was to smile at them. i was given this channel u fan to wave when i walk out the door. i walked out still blur and then there was the interview where they ask you what you're feeling now and asked me what song i sang... and then asked to sing a part of the song i did for the audition. suddenly! i saw connie... apparently she heard my number being reported to be in when she was in the results room so she ran out to find me and wang jian fu got her to do the interview with me. what a relief to have connie around man! and then we went to the results room to get the paper that says congratulations you're in and when to come again. gotta report to the stage at that toa payoh hdb hub at 3 pm next sunday. so scary... only a week to prepare... and that sums up my PSS experience round 1. total queue time: 4 hours sadly no pictures =( forgot to take sia.... |
