The Chronicles of Nana: The Journey of the Day Walkers
So we left off at the BTS station the last time. it was quite funny when we were changing BTS. we had to take connecting trains at siam and ggw followed behind gg. the thing is, gg had no problems getting through the crowd but ggw kept getting bumped into. XD. we came to the conclusion that the difference in their sizes made all the difference LOL. we finally made it to MBK! we decided to start from the very top. right up there at 6th level. a maze of stalls. we werent very organized so we kind of zigzagged our way around the place, stopping when we saw something good or interesting to us... very FnE style =) we all hadn't started buying anything yet and we were talking about who would strike the first blood =P gg was saying that she didnt wanna be the first to buy otherwise she would keep buying and spend a lot LOL. anyways me and pearlyn ended up trying clothes in ten and co. the rest wondered off into the myriad of bugis-street-like shops. we took a while but we did buy clothes from there haha. i bought 2 tops of the same cut but in different colours - yellow and black. pearlyn bought tanktops. so there! first buys!!! we met up with the rest again and found that gg had bought something too hahaha. later on i discovered this shop that had some really nice clothes. really my style. and its rainbow clothes! popular with online shoppers =P erm this is where the curse set in. i bought 2 rainbow hooded tops. same cut different colour. what's new? LOL. i bought white and baby turquoise. but there was this pink one that i really liked too!!! but 3 seemed to many so i didnt get it after consulting with my gang. so plus another white top, i bought 3 pcs at first. when i paid, the lady said thank you please come again =) with a nice smile. well, that ultimately came true because later on, i was still thinking about the pink top. and mel "helped" me by pointing out the shop when we walked past it again LOL. i couldnt resist. went in looked for the pink top, found it (phew) and bought it. the lady obviously recognised me and she said again... thank you please come again =) and i was like no no no i'm not coming back again no thanks. BUT! later on =.= argh the girls wanted to look at jeans and so we went back to that shop AGAIN!!! omg i went to that shop 3 times man! is that a curse or what LOL. enough of that though... i wanna talk about our lunch at MBK foodcourt. they work on the coupon system so we all traded cash for food coupons. most of us ate PADTHAI!!! YUMMY YUM!!! TOM YUM GOONG!!! YAY!! and they thought i cant take TYG... oooh they couldnt be more wrong... its not the sort of spice that i cant tolerate hahaha i love tyg!!! and gg ordered this dish that she was raving about... mango and glutinous rice. ok. u gotta give it to this girl she definitely knows good stuff. cuz it was raving lunatically GOOD! super nice. the mango sweetness and the glutinous rice taste blended seamlessly in our mouths. REALLY GOOD! we managed to cover almost all of MBK before we decided that we really needed to go back to the hotel to put down our stuff and get a rest. so thats what we did =) pictures for this part of the trip:  ggw in hot pink shades!!! dont ask me what mel was doing. and gg is just stoning LOL. anyways, THATS the pink top that i didnt buy and then i bought. hahas.p/s: we realised later on that we didnt take that many pictures of the trip. most of the pictures are taken in the hotel when we're resting/being lame/pillow fighting etc... too busy shopping to take pictures hahaha! anyhow, after MBK and our hotel rest, we went out to hunt for dinner. gg wanted thai restaurant. only, we walked really far past nana and almost to asok, turned at times square and after a quite shop at a rather miserable grocery store (big in size, poor in supplies and prices!) we ended up at this mexican food outlet eating burritos and taco wraps. A LOT OF BEANS!!! i'm definitely not the mexican type i tell you. dun think any of us really like mexican food either HAHAS! so we didnt eat that much... the guys already planning to grab other food later haha! later on we bought satay on the way back. its those roadside stalls they push out at night. SUPERDUPERABSOLUTEWHOOPER NICE!!! i still cannot forget the chicken satay!!! and we grabbed more food stuff from 7-11 our most trusted place LOL. amazingly enough the 7-11 there has cheaper prices than grocery stores... dunno why... The guys headed for RCA later in the night whilst the girls hanged out in our room, talking, playing, enjoying ourselves hee hee!!! it must have been mostly lame stuff we talked about and laughed about... cuz i cant remember the contents of what we spoke of LOL!!! but i do remember that me and mel are constantly fighting HAHAS!
